Campout Announcement

YOU’RE INVITED TO THE CAMP OUT

November 5th–8th, 2026

Springfield, Louisiana • About 45 Minutes from New Orleans

We're going camping.

We're getting out of the city, setting up some tents, building some fires, making some music, spinning some fire, playing some games, meeting some new people, and spending four days hanging out under the Louisiana sky.

And you're invited.

There aren't a whole lot of good times of year to go camping around New Orleans.

Most of the year, it's hot. It's humid. There are mosquitoes. There are more mosquitoes. And sleeping outside doesn't sound nearly as fun once you've actually stepped outside.

But then November comes around.

For a little window, Louisiana finally cools down. The days are comfortable, and the nights might get a little chilly, but they're usually still pretty tolerable and hopefully above 50 degrees.

We figured we ought to take advantage of it.

So from November 5th through November 8th, we're going camping.

And we invited a bunch of musicians, artists, performers, fire spinners, families, makers, weirdos, nerds, and other interesting people to come camping with us.

WE INVITED SOME FRIENDS

There'll be music and performances throughout the Camp Out, but there's also going to be plenty of time to just hang out, meet people, sit around a fire, wander around, make something, play something, or get involved yourself.

Coming out for the weekend:

The Bomb Pulse
Dirty Rotten Snake in the Grass
Stumps Duh Clown
Barstool Brown
Chasm Comfort
MXTHRV
Foot E The Clown
Solo X
Joseph Bienvenu
Madame Coyote and Mistor Fog
Ladyugly
Bunny Danger
Josh Kimbo
Joey B Wilson
Laura Mattingly
In The Family
Aayla Ray
Rosemary Crowder
KChicks Nuttblasters
+ More to Come

WE'RE GONNA SPIN SOME FIRE

Bring your props.

We've got people leading a community fire-spinning circle where fire and flow people can get together, spin, practice, share some tricks, meet each other, and play around the fire.

If you've been spinning for years, come spin.

If you're newer to it, come meet some people.

If you just think people spinning fire around looks cool, come hang out and watch.

WE'RE ALSO GOING TO LARP WITH NERF WEAPONS

Because apparently that's something we're doing now.

We're putting together a LARPing tournament for people who want to nerd out with Nerf weapons.

Run around. Pick a side. Make up a ridiculous character. Take the whole thing way too seriously. Or don't take it seriously at all.

Battle your friends with foam weapons in the woods.

Why not?

Sometimes grown-ups need an excuse to play too.

BUT MOSTLY... WE'RE GOING CAMPING

That's really the whole idea.

We're going camping.

Pitch a tent. Sit around a fire. Wander around. Meet somebody you didn't know when you got there. Make some food. Play some music. Tell some stories. Stay up too late. Sleep outside.

You don't have to spend the whole weekend chasing a schedule.

There'll be stuff happening around you, but you're also completely welcome to just be there.

We're basically building a little temporary community in the woods and seeing what happens when everybody gets to live in it together for a few days.

CAMPING IS INCLUDED

Primitive tent camping is included with your ticket.

And when we say primitive camping, we mean camping.

This isn't a developed campground.

Expect natural terrain, unpaved roads and paths, and campsites that are still very much part of the Louisiana landscape.

Bring the stuff you need to be comfortable outside.

And remember, it's November. That's why we're doing this in the first place, but the nights can still get chilly.

Bring a decent sleeping bag and something warm.

WE DON'T HAVE UNLIMITED SPACE

This is going to be a smaller Camp Out, and there's only so much room for everybody to camp.

We're opening tickets at:

$40

Then we expect the price to go up as we get closer:

First Round — $40

Second Round — $60

Final Price — $80

We're expecting that final $80 price to kick in the week before the Camp Out, assuming we still have camping space left.

Obviously, buying early gets you the cheaper ticket.

But it also really helps us out.

The earlier we know how many people are actually coming, the better we can figure out camping, parking, bathrooms, activities, supplies, and all the other stuff we need to have ready.

Basically, if you already know you're coming, please grab your ticket early and let us know you're coming.

PICK YOUR TICKET

We've got a few different options depending on whether you're coming on your own, bringing the family, bringing a bunch of friends, or coming to sell your art.

🎟️ $40 INDIVIDUAL TICKET

One Adult + Primitive Camping

Pretty simple.

You get admission to the Camp Out for all four days, November 5th–8th, and your primitive tent camping is included.

Kids under 18 are free when they're coming with a parent or legal guardian.

Tickets need to be purchased online before you arrive. We're not planning on taking cash for tickets at the gate.

GET YOUR $40 TICKET

👨👩👧👦 BRING THE KIDS

$80 FAMILY CAMPING PASS

Three Adults + Your Kids + Family Camping + Parking

Yes, bring the kids.

We've got a Family Camping Area just for people camping with children.

The $80 Family Camping Pass gets you:

Three adult tickets

Your kids get in free

Primitive tent camping

One vehicle parking space right there in the Family Camping Area

So basically, you're getting three adult tickets for the price of two, your kids come with you for free, and you've got a family camping spot where you can keep your vehicle nearby.

That should make unloading all the stuff that somehow becomes necessary when you take children camping considerably easier.

If you've got additional adults coming with your family, they can buy regular individual tickets and join you at your Family Camping campsite.

Kids under 18 need to be there with a parent or legal guardian. We're not doing unattended teenagers getting dropped off for four days.

🎨 WANT TO SELL YOUR ART?

$80 ART VENDING PACKAGE

Two Adults + Vending Space + Parking/Camping

If you make cool stuff, bring it and sell it.

The $80 Art Vending Package gets you:

Two adult tickets

Your vending space

Parking in the vending area

Primitive camping

Early access on Wednesday, November 4th so you can get set up

We intentionally made this $80—the same price as two regular $40 tickets.

Basically, buy two tickets and we'll give you a place to sell your stuff and a place to park and camp in the vending area.

We want artists and makers there.

Bring your artwork, handmade stuff, crafts, clothes, jewelry, weird things you've made, or whatever else you've been working on.

Homegrown produce and garden goods are welcome too.

We're not doing food or beverage vending, and there aren't electrical hookups, so plan on being self-contained.

🎟️ GOT A WHOLE CREW?

$120 FIVE-TICKET PACK

5 TICKETS FOR THE PRICE OF 3

If you've got a bunch of friends coming, don't all buy separately.

The Five-Ticket Pack is $120 and gets you:

Five adult tickets

Primitive camping for everybody

At $40 each, five individual tickets would normally be $200.

This package is $120.

So basically:

FIVE PEOPLE. $120. COME CAMP.

And if some of those people are bringing their kids, the kids are still free when they're there with their parent or legal guardian.

Round up your people. Figure out who owns the biggest tent. Come camping.

GET THE $120 FIVE-TICKET PACK

YES, KIDS ARE FREE

Kids under 18 are free when they're here with a parent or legal guardian.

We want families to come.

That's why we've got a separate Family Camping Area where people with kids can camp together.

If you're under 18,  you must come with your parent or legal guardian.

A LITTLE MORE ABOUT THE CAMPING

This is outdoors.

It's primitive.

Roads and paths aren't paved. Campsites are natural ground. There aren't electrical hookups at the campsites or vending spaces.

That's kind of the point.

Bring a tent.

Bring a sleeping bag.

Bring something warm.

Bring whatever you personally need to live outside for a few days.

BUY EARLY IF YOU KNOW YOU'RE COMING

We're starting tickets at $40 because we want this to be something people can actually afford to come do.

But we've only got so much camping space.

And knowing who's coming ahead of time makes our lives a whole lot easier.

When you buy your ticket early, you're basically telling us:

Yep. I'm coming. Save me some room.

Then we can figure out how many people we're actually planning for instead of trying to guess.

So if you're planning on coming, grab your ticket while it's $40.

COME CAMP WITH US

Bring your tent.

Bring a sleeping bag.

Bring something warm.

Bring your instruments.

Bring your art.

Bring your fire props.

Bring your Nerf weapons.

Bring the kids.

Bring your weird friends.

Or just show up by yourself and meet some new weird friends.

We're going to take a little piece of Louisiana about 45 minutes outside New Orleans and make it our home for four days.

There'll be music.

There'll be art.

There'll be fire.

There'll be kids running around.

There'll apparently be grown adults fighting each other with Nerf weapons.

There'll be a bunch of people camping.

And hopefully Louisiana gives us some of the nicest weather we're going to get all year.
